This issue occurs when you install another language pack to Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1), or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Cause. This issue occurs because the language pack catalogs with more than 127 characters in the file names will be truncated when the characters are added to the catalog database.

You can install additional language accessory packs after installing Microsoft 365. If a language accessory pack is described as having partial localization, some parts of Microsoft 365 may still display in the language of your copy of Microsoft 365.

Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region. Choose a language from the Add a language list under Preferred languages, and then select Options. Select Download from the Download language pack option. After the language pack is installed, select Back. Choose a language from the Windows display language menu.

Install the language accessory pack for your desired language. Open any Office program, click File > Options > Language. Under Choose Editing Languages, make sure the language you want to use is added to the list. Under Choose Display and Help languages, change the default display and help languages for all Office apps.

Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region. Open Language settings. Go to Preferred languages, select Add a language. In Choose a language to install, enter and select the name of the language that you want to install, then select Next. In Install language features, select the features that you want to use, then select Install.

The Detect language automatically option, available in Word and Outlook on Windows, detects the language that you are typing and automatically enables the proofing tools for that language. If you don't have that language already installed you will need to download the free Language Accessory Pack. See Language Accessory Pack for Office.

Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region. Under Preferred languages , select the language that contains the keyboard you want, and then select Options . Select Add a keyboard and choose the keyboard you want to add.

You may be prompted to restart your PC. After restarting your PC, you'll have the new language available for Text-to-Speech and the Learning Tools Immersive Reader will recognize the text on the page and read it in the correct language.
